Sterile Processing Technician

Job Opportunity: Sterile Processing Technician (Puyallup, WA)

Position: Immediate need an experienced Sterile Processing Tech for the 3 months of the contract.

Details:

Title: Sterile Processing Technician

Duration: 13 weeks (Extendable)

Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. 8 hours. 40 hours a week.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience.
• Active (IAHCSMM or CBSPD) CRCST certification.
• COVID Vaccinated.
• BLS / CPR Preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays following established protocols.
• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Monitor and track equipment inventory levels.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.

Experience:

• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience in sterile processing techniques and aseptic practices.
• Certification in Sterile Processing is preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Knowledge of sterile processing procedures.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques.
