Job Description
If you’re a business developer/advisor or a business analyst with experience in identifying and realizing business improvement initiatives supported by technology and data, you can build a career that helps to solve the climate crisis, with Statkraft. In this role, you’re accountable for driving a partnership with Operations, Risk & Finance functions in a quest to grasp benefits from digitalization, and to strengthen key business enabling capabilities required to realize Statkraft’s ambition.
Your role:
We are looking to fill a position located in HQ Lilleaker, Norway, reporting to the Head of Operation, Risk & Finance Digitalization Partner (also located in HQ in Oslo, Norway). The role will focus on the digitalization activities for the operation, risk and finance functions (Middle- and Back office). A close collaboration with digitalization partner for Trading & Origination function (Front office) is important for an end to end perspective and delivering quality from A-Z.
- You will be responsible for activities in the interface between the business and IT and have a key role in ensuring an excellent customer experience by translating business needs to concrete IT solutions
- You will work closely with the business areas, understanding their core business and processes, and bringing the resources of Statkraft IT to deliver the best possible solutions for business challenges and opportunities
- You will create awareness to and introduce digitalization opportunities from new technologies
- You will develop and coordinate concrete initiatives from idea to execution
- You will be a team player collaborating closely with both the technology teams and business teams
- You will support in continuously strengthening our way of working and optimizing our processes
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are high performing individuals with drive and a clear “can do” attitude. The right candidate has a deep interest, motivation and experience in leading business critical IT and digitalization activities. You acknowledge the importance of change management and are motivated by collaborating with skilled colleagues to reach ambitious goals.
- Higher relevant education at university level and minimum 5 years’ work experience
- Work experience from consulting companies or similar roles in global industrial or energy companies is highly relevant as is experience from digitalization work within banking/insurance from the trading, risk and finance area
- Strong communication skills and talent for building network and trusted relationships is a necessity
- Fluent in English - verbal and written communication
- Ability to connect the dots between business needs and IT solutions, and communicate with both end users on the business side and technology specialists in IT
- Skilled process driver with mindset to plan and structure work to ensure high quality solutions with deliveries from many involved parties across different teams
- Interest and understanding for the opportunities enabled by digitalization trends and technologies, e.g. cloud, data platforms, process automation, and user experiences.
- Continuous improvement mindset and experience from optimizing deliveries related to a product. Knowhow of agile and innovative techniques is appreciated
- Great at making things happen, starting and moving cases with passion and drive, as well as corporate navigation skills.
English language fluency is mandatory.
Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries. The applicant must be eligible for security clearance and authorisation.
