We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our team in New Haven, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate advocate who is committed to fighting for the rights of injured clients. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury and workers' compensation cases from intake through settlement or trial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in personal injury and workers' compensation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery.
- Negotiate settlements and prepare for trial as necessary.
- Provide compassionate and clear communication with clients to guide them through the legal process.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the best possible outcome for each client.
- Stay current on relevant laws and legal trends in personal injury and workers' compensation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Connecticut Bar.
- 1 years of experience in personal injury and/or workers' compensation law.
- Strong negotiation skills and trial experience preferred.
