What does the job involve?
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for providing effective customer service to assigned customers by using knowledge of the company and products and services. The AE interacts with customers as well as internal staff to provide information in response to questions and concerns through e-mail, phone and face-to-face. The AE is innovative enough to suggest tailored solutions to common account problems. This position is part of a team that continues to develop current business relationships and ensure client satisfaction to grow existing and new revenue for the company. The AE provides detailed executive-level support to the Senior Manager of the Account Executive department.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Works closely with the Account Executive and Manufacturing teams, ensuring order accuracy.
- Prepares purchase orders.
- Researches, collects and analyzes open order data to prepare reports and documents.
- Monitors, screens, and responds to incoming communications.
- Liaises with internal staff at all levels, as well as external clients.
- Reviews operating practices and implements improvements, where necessary.
- Performs administrative duties including (but not limited to) filing, copying and scanning.
- Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.
What key skills and experience do I need?
- Three years of customer service within an office environment.
- Three years of experience coordinating accounts in the Aerospace manufacturing area.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
