What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Steinhafels?
Steinhafels is currently recruiting a Sales Manager for our retail operations in Appleton. This position has the overall responsibility to coach, train, and direct the sales staff.
Primary duties include:
- Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished
- Keep the sales floor maintained with well trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards
- Handles sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve
- Handles all disciplinary actions as set by the company guidelines
- Observes sales staff to better coach a successful staff
- Pre-hiring surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements
- Direct the staff in setup of new sales events
- Take part in the training of new sales associates
- Participates in management meetings
- Requires punctuality and regular attendance
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Requires the ability to motivate, communicate and train employees
- Must be able to complete required reports on time as assigned
- Requires good organizational skills
