What are the responsibilities and job description for the Virtual Sales Associate position at Steinhafels?
Steinhafels is looking for driven, dedicated sales people who are passionate about putting their creativity to work for the customers they serve. Our mission is to provide value and help our customers create the home of their dreams! This position works inside our retail stores and assists customers virtually.
The primary objective of our virtual sales team is to provide customer support and service for the purpose of furniture and accessory sales via digital contacts, chats, email, phone calls, video calls, virtual sales tours and in person contacts. Regular availability on Saturday or Sunday is required as part of the regular schedule.
Specific Duties:
- Greeting and meeting customers through digital contacts and phone calls
- Guiding customers through the sales process to products that meet their needs
- Clarifying the differences between products
- Explain product warranties
- Selling all of our products and services including Decorating Solutions
- Arranging payment and/or financing and delivery
- Accurately completing all necessary paperwork
- Customer follow-up via phone calls and/or thank you note
- Utilizing good sales techniques, while following all company procedures and guidelines
- Always keeping customer satisfaction as the top priority
- Requires punctuality and regular attendance
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work environment Interior and Exterior of store
- Maintaining a sanitized work environment including disposal of point of purchase supplies such as, but not limited to; pillow covers, mattress covers, and tissue boxes, etc
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
You’ll need a positive attitude and great organizational skills. You must be comfortable using and training on computers and be available to work standard retail business hours, including nights and weekends, when our customers shop the most. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
