Summary The Furniture and Interiors Specialist will consult with the architectural design team and Property Management project team on furniture, colors and finish In addition, the Furniture and Interiors Specialist will be in charge of furniture procurement, tracking, installations and fit-outs to meet with project schedules.
Manage the process for RFPs and proposals, vendor evaluations, negotiations and budget control, using good stewardship at all times.
The Furniture and Interiors Specialist will coordinate small project paint and flooring refreshes. The Furniture and Interiors Specialist will work with the Senior Director Capital Projects in the creation and maintenance of Mercy Health Services furniture and finish standards.
will consider 5 years or more of transferrable experience in lieu of degree. The ideal candidate is proficient in delivering projects on time and on budget Must possess AutoCAD experience Must possess at least 2-3 years purchasing experience (hospital setting is highly desirable) Beyond the required technical skills for this position, the ideal candidate must also possess effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
