Contract

Seeking for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst with a strong background in credit card risk management. This is an onsite, interim role designed to support the client's credit risk management team during a critical period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess credit risk for credit card portfolios.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.
  • Monitor and report on credit risk metrics and trends.
  • Conduct detailed credit risk assessments and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to enhance credit risk models and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit risk analysis, specifically within the credit card industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, R, Python).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) in a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or similar.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in the financial industry.
