Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document data engineering and interface requirements
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Interface Engineers to translate business needs into detailed user stories and technical specifications
- Create and maintain documentation for data engineering and interface projects, including requirement documents and process flows
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and validate requirements with cross-functional teams
- Utilize tools such as JIRA to manage and prioritize user stories, ensuring alignment with project timelines
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the data engineering team, providing clear communication, and managing expectations
- Assist in the testing and quality assurance processes, including test planning, test case development, and coordination of testing activities
- Collaborate with the quality assurance teams to ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
- Participate in the resolution of issues and defects identified during testing phases
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights and recommendations based on project experiences
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within data engineering or related domains
- Healthcare experience, specifically, being familiar with provider and some payor language/nomenclature
- Experience in writing user stories and managing requirements using JIRA or similar tools
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties
- Ability to facilitate workshops and meetings with diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality documentation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
