Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
***This is an independent contractor role and pay is $100 per hour ***
Step Ahead ABA is currently looking to add a BCBA to our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing treatment plans, RBT supervision, new client consultations, and other behavior-related tasks. We provide in-home and school-based ABA therapy throughout the Charlotte area. A qualified BCBA must have at least 2 years of experience and be proficient at behavior reduction and skill acquisition strategies as well as possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job responsibilities:
- Complete assessment and treatment plans for insurance authorizations
- Complete ongoing routine documentation
- Review treatment data and make appropriate modifications as needed
- Provide supervision to RBT's, and parent training to client guardians
Qualifications and Skills
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- 2 years of experience as a BCBA
- Competency working with both behavior reduction and skill acquisition
- Experience with children and/or teens
- Supervisory experience
- Creative and organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) an asset
- Valid and clean BCBA Certification
- CAQH Enrollment (Up-to-Date)
- NPI Enrollment (Up-to-Date)
BCBA's have the opportunity to work as much as they'd like. The position comes with a high degree of flexibility and autonomy. BCBA's are able to set their own schedules with their clients and supervisees.
