We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. As a Builder, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Lead machine assemply for assigned projects
- Utilize power tools and machinery for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality using engineering documentation.
- Keep Assembly Manager informed of all issues or delays affecting project timeline.
- Maintain and update all redline and assembly documents for communication with engineering teams.
- Support Controls Engineers during machine debugging and provide viable solutions.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks as directed by Assembly Manager.
- Modify parts as needed to ensure proper fit, and update drawings to reflect any adjustments
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials around the worksite.
- Conduct machining processes as needed for custom parts or repairs.
- Perform electrical wiring tasks as required by project specifications.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the building process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading with strong spatial awareness.
- Proficient in NC shop skills.
- Strong knowledge and basic fabrication skills.
- Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Skilled in using power tools for various construction tasks.
- Knowledge of machining processes for creating or modifying parts.
- Ability to fabricate components based on project needs.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring techniques.
- Solid mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment and assembly challenges.
- Competence in using calipers and other measuring tools for precision work.
