As Payroll and Benefits Administrator you will:
- Plans, develops, and administers the various colleague benefit programs, including but not limited to life and health insurance, disability, pension, profit sharing and related programs
- Recommends new and/or improved colleague benefit plans and cost-saving measures
- Ensures compliance with all legal requirements of various colleague benefit programs, payments to government agencies, insurance carriers, other organizations and individual colleagues, and prepares and files required legal reports
- Manage the preparation and distribution of the organization’s hourly and salaried payrolls for multiple locations
- Oversees the maintenance of earnings and deduction records
- Ensures that all federal, state and local taxes, Social Security contributions, contributions to colleague benefit programs, and other deductions are withheld from individual paychecks
- Perform all the above and all other duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies
Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience administering payroll for multiple locations
- 3 years' experience administering employee benefits preferred
- CEBS or CPP certification ideal
- Previous experience with Paycor a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects accurately and concurrently
