Our Recruiter is primarily responsible for the following:


    • Identify the best sources for candidates for all Sterling divisions through ongoing outreach efforts
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine search criteria and ideal candidate match qualifications; meet weekly with leaders on open requisitions
    • Post open positions on a variety of platforms and job boards
    • Prescreen, interview and submit qualified candidates to hiring managers
    • Conduct reference checks, draft and negotiate offers
    • Maintain and calculate recruitment cost, time to fill positions and other progress reports and assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports
    • Act as liaison with area employment agencies, advertising sources, processing and checking agency billings.
    • Led by the Talent Acquisitions Manager
    • Perform all the above and other related duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

    Don’t sell yourself short. Our Recruiter must have the following qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
    • At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
    • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
    • Proactive, independent with excellent time management skills
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively at a fast-pace
