Our Recruiter is primarily responsible for the following:
- Identify the best sources for candidates for all Sterling divisions through ongoing outreach efforts
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine search criteria and ideal candidate match qualifications; meet weekly with leaders on open requisitions
- Post open positions on a variety of platforms and job boards
- Prescreen, interview and submit qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Conduct reference checks, draft and negotiate offers
- Maintain and calculate recruitment cost, time to fill positions and other progress reports and assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports
- Act as liaison with area employment agencies, advertising sources, processing and checking agency billings.
- Led by the Talent Acquisitions Manager
- Perform all the above and other related duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive, independent with excellent time management skills
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively at a fast-pace
