About You:
- Completion of a professional nursing program.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in an emergency department.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas, or eligibility to obtain it immediately.
- Must obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment, prior to independent patient care. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
Hours and Compensation:
- This is a full-time night shift position.
- Hourly pay ranges from $40.00 to $48.00, depending on experience. Night shift differential is $4.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Staff RN utilizes the nursing process to provide professional nursing care.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients. Serves as a patient advocate within the healthcare system.
- Performs specialized patient care tasks requiring advanced training and skills.
- Ensures the safety, comfort, care, and treatment of patients in adherence to legal, ethical, professional, and institutional standards.
- Participates in the hospital's Quality Improvement and Service Excellence programs.
