Job Posting for Nurse at Sterling St James LLC
As an RN, you will be responsible for planning, providing, and supervising nursing care to patients in an efficient and compassionate manner. You will coordinate care planning with other caregivers and areas, adhere to universal precautions, and ensure compliance with infection control policies. With minimal supervision, you will work independently to provide excellent patient care.
- Provide direct patient care in a warm and friendly manner, following physician orders
- Take and record measurements and readings
- Assess patient condition and provide appropriate treatment
- Administer prescribed medications
- Provide leadership while collaborating with other caregivers on the unit
- Participate in maintaining unit preparedness for HFAP accreditation
- Assist with patient rounds
- BSN or ADN degree
- RN Degree in Ohio required
- Valid CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of employment
- Additional requirement: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS), or obtain within one year of employment
We have several positions available in various nursing areas. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with both day and night shifts. Full-time positions require 36 hours per week (day shift: 7am-7:30pm, night shift: 7pm-7:30am). Part-time positions consist of a few shifts per week. We offer shift differentials of $3.50/hr and $4.50/hr.
Our hospital offers a competitive hourly range of $29.00-$45.00/hr, depending on degree and experience. Along with a great benefit package, we provide a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 (paid in three annual installments of $5,000) and some relocation assistance.
