Main Accountabilities:
Finance:
- Manage the company's debt portfolio, including loan agreements, lines of credit, and other debt instruments.
- Analyze and manage financial risks associated with debt, including interest rate risk and credit risk.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company's capital structure and minimize borrowing costs.
- Monitor and forecast future debt needs, ensuring timely renewals or refinancing.
- Ensure compliance with all debt covenants and reporting requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key lending institutions.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management on debt activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including property management, accounting, and legal departments to ensure alignment and execution of financing strategies.
Treasury:
- Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet financial obligations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow, minimize idle balances, and maximize returns on surplus funds.
- Oversee bank account management, including establishing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
Qualifications and Proficiencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
- 5 years of relevant experience in real estate finance, Treasury, FP&A, or related field required.
- Strong understanding of debt financing instruments, loan structures, and risk management principles.
- Knowledge of capital markets and treasury management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with lenders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor with the ability to maintain professionalism and a strong customer-focused demeanor with demanding clientele.
- Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems and help teams collaborate, as necessary.
Salary : $145,000 - $160,000
