Who are we looking for?
The Showing Assistant is an individual who is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. They have a compelling desire to support the lead agent in achieving team success, while being committed to growing their own skills and to developing into a leader within the team.
After the lead agent meets with a potential buyer, the lead agent will pass the desired criteria to the Showing Assistant. The Showing Assistant will then search areas, set the client up on a search, find homes that meet the criteria (including prospecting neighborhoods as needed and utilizing their database as appropriate), and then schedule showings. As clients explore homes, the Showing Assistant will work with clients to confirm or refine criteria and will show additional homes as needed. Following each showing, the Showing Assistant will provide feedback to the lead agent and pass along any questions and the Showing Assistant and lead agent will gather the additional information for the client. When the client is ready to make an offer, the Showing Assistant will notify the Lead Agent, who will then take over for offer preparation and contract negotiation through closing.
The Showing Assistant is required to have a real estate license and Sentrilock access. This role fits forward-looking individuals who develop and maintain positive professional relationships. They have a track record of success, and a palpable desire to succeed in this role, as well as their next.
What will you do?
These are the standards a well-above-average performer will maintain or exceed:
- Assist the lead agent by showing homes to buyer clients
- Assist the lead agent by identifying homes that meet the criteria as specified by the lead agent after the lead agent has completed a needs analysis
- Provide team with existing database and bring in referral business from database
Responsibilities:
- Schedule showings and provide buyer with tour list and schedule
- Work with buyer clients to refine their needs and wants based on seeing homes● Following up with clients
- Find homes that meet buyer clients’ criteria both in the MLS and through prospecting
- Provide lead agent comprehensive feedback based on showings
- Host Open Houses for our listings & other agents in our office to bring additional leads
- Attend inspections, walk throughs, and settlements
- Help with paperwork when admin is unavailable
- Bring existing Database to the team
- Add 25 contacts to the team Database on a monthly basis
- Study market activity daily/weekly/monthly
