The Securities Lending Operations Analyst is a member of the Stock Loan department and will support and integrate with the Securities Lending trading desk. This position will assist inleading lower level professional staff. This position will ensure stringent deadlines are met and operational process completion is done efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enable oversight of on-loan amounts, borrower and counterparty exposure, utilization rates and daily earnings.
- Monitor collateral risk, ensuring daily mark to the markets received or paid reflects the daily price movements.
- Determine which contracts need a loan recall and when to execute a buy in in accordance with Regulations and make recommendations to senior management.
- Participant in the daily settlement process and administer corresponding entries.
- Performs, records, and reconciles month-end interest payable and receivables.
- Report analysis results to management, including Collateral, Credit and FOCUS report and makes recommendations.
- Manage the opening of new accounts, establish counter party processing parameters, and preform account maintenance of existing accounts.
- Establish team work through collaboration, mentoring in contributing to the development of other associates.
- Participate in the growth and development of the department assisting in testing and designing operational procedures

Education and Experience
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum Required: 3 to 4 years' of experience
Licenses and Credentials
- Minimum Required: FINRA Series 7 (required within 90 days)
Systems and Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access
- Possess knowledge of the department systems DTCC, FIS Loanet, and our Securities Lending Order Management system.
