Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
• Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and assists in the preparation of financial statements and other reports which summarize current and projected company financial position.
• Assists in the data compilation and organization required for financial statements.
• Participates in monthly financial meetings for discussion and review of monthly financial reports.
• Reconciles assigned bank accounts and resolves any discrepancies.
• Assists with the preparation of year-end closings, including interaction with outside auditors to resolve any internal control and accounting issues.
• Assists in the preparation of working papers for annual audit.
• Provides guidance to other Finance personnel for proper internal and external financial accounting procedures.
• Assists with the preparation of annual budgets, updates, and strategic plans for assigned areas.
• Assists with the maintenance and application of internal controls.
• Provides assistance to department managers or others as needed.
• All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
• Assumes additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Specifications

• 4 year college degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
• 4 years of related experience.
