JOB SUMMARY:

Our ideal candidate for this position will take pride in their ability to provide exceptional customer service while also ensuring a safe, accurate, efficient, friendly, and timely delivery. The Delivery Driver is responsible for creating a best-in-class experience for each and every customer.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Schedule: 2:45pm-11:00pm Thursday – Sunday (Must be available for 3 of these days)

● Monitoring company phone for new messages

● Checking identification

● Verifying cash payments

● Adhering to all traffic and vehicle laws

● Following company procedures and DCC laws

● Provide great customer service

REQUIREMENTS:

● Valid California Driver's license

● Valid Registration

● Clean driving record for the past 3 years

● Must be insured on the vehicle

● Vehicle must have a working car alarm system

● Prolonged periods of sitting while driving

● Must have a reliable vehicle - we do not have company cars

● All Phones and electronics must be hands-free used in accordance with the laws of the road

PAY & REIMBURSEMENT:

● $15/hour

● .44 cents a for each mile driven (paid in cash after each shift)

● Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more at times

● Be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist

Required Skills

• Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
• Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record (minor violations may be considered)
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to communicate professionally in person to effectively explain all variations of cannabis products to guests, if necessary
• Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions
• Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs

Desired Skills

• Professional knowledge and working experience of cannabis products from a regulated retail or medical distribution center 
• Computer skills working within a POS system as well as cash register and payment processing
