The District Manager maintains a visible presence within assigned territory overseeing operational store management and performance.
Location: Area of support includes 9 stores between Denver, Aurora, Littleton, and Englewood Colorado. Candidate must live near, or be willing to relocate to, the Denver metro area.

Operational Execution
- Responsible for operational systems and procedures designed to effect control of the store’s costs, shrink and expenses. Reviews store audits to ensure proper reporting and accounting of all sales and costs.
- Communicates strategies, procedures, and initiatives to store management on an as needed basis.
- Advises the General Manager on the status of store performance, obstacles, and operational changes as it relates to profitability and goal achievement.
- Monitor and evaluate monthly P&L statements with store management to identify strengths and weaknesses and plan for improved performance.
- Responsible for understanding and reacting to changes in profit statements and P&L numbers, assuring stores are profitable, and developing action plans to change negative trends.
- Ensures the execution of all aspects of the company’s promotions as communicated by the Merchandising Director.
- Ensures pricing policies are strictly adhered to including company and vendor supplied signage.
- Ensures merchandise and promotional programs are displayed in a manner that is consistent with company brand image.
- Assists in building community relations to maintain brand reputation and involvement within local neighborhoods.
- Oversees the hiring and training of store managers and is involved, as needed, in the hiring and training of other store personnel.
- Provides effective coaching and development to store management to enhance skills and correct performance as needed. Focuses on the retention of quality employees.
- Through effective leadership principles motivates store management to drive sales plans, programs, and promotions to meet store profitability objectives.
- Effectively communicates pertinent information to store personnel, encouraging open feedback. Provides a leadership climate, which promotes fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- Holds monthly meetings and attends store meetings as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proven capabilities in solving business challenges.
- Servant leadership attitude with a growth mindset.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Results-oriented with a willingness to take responsibility and initiative.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years multi-unit retail experience, convenience store experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
- Must consent to and pass a background check.
- This is a full-time position. Days and times may vary, including weekends, some holidays, and evenings.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, reach, lift and use a step ladder.
- Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 32 degrees.
