LABORER
Kansas City Composting, a sister company of St. Louis Composting, Inc., producer of STA-Certified Compost, Mulch Products and Soil Blends, is seeking a Laborer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accompanying and taking direction from truck drivers on pickup routes on the back of the truck.
- Rapidly entering and exiting the back of the truck. Loading and unloading natural waste yard waste, food waste, into the truck by hand.
- Performing manual labor at the sites.
- Performing manual labor outdoors in varying weather.
- Operating skid steer to move products.
- Performing landscaping labor at Belton MO and Lee's Summit MO sites.
- Assisting customers with loading bagged products into customer vehicle.
- Driving a pickup truck to transport parts to mechanics between Belton MO and Lee's Summit MO.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a current valid driver license in good standing.
- Ability to use hand tools safety
- Ability to operate a skid steer
- Ability to successfully perform the physical aspects of the position, including: lifting up to 50lbs without assistance, remaining on your feet for a large portion of the day, sitting and/or standing for long periods of time, being able to work in outdoor conditions for the entire day in varying weather.
- Must have a strong work ethic
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior landscape laboring experience
- Basic mechanical skills
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment
