**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a medical office setting.

Hours: 6:45AM - 4:00PM Monday through Thursday

6:45AM - 12:00PM Fridays

Occasional Extended Office Hours may be required on occasion.

**Responsibilities:**

- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently

- Maintain electronic medical records

- Able to Multi-task

- Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and correspondence promptly and accurately

- Verify insurance information.

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality

**Skills:**

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in medical administrative support

- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems helpful.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, particularly in a medical office setting

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service

- Familiarity with handling patient records, insurance verification, and billing processes

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
