Stone-Mart is one of the leading Natural Stone and Tile distributor in Florida with 7 locations, expanding its HR team in Tampa location.
The HR Manager will be responsible for performing all HR Related duties on a professional level working directly with CEO. The position carries out responsibilities including but not limited to: maintenance of employee files and records, payroll, commissions, employee relations and employment law compliance and insurances.
Some of the Responsibilities:
· Prepares new hire packets and orientation for new hires
· Monitors payroll time records to ensure that accurate data is received in accordance with prescribed timetables, follows up as necessary
· Process payroll, making all associated entries and adjustments; experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus
· Maintain employee records in compliance with company, state and federal guidelines
· Conduct employee related investigations as necessary
· Assist in event planning and coordination
· Back up support to HR Specialist
· Additional responsibilities as requested or required
Requirements:
Bilingual; Spanish and English (Preferred not Required)
Strong data entry skills
Great communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Strong PC skills and MS Office skills
Analytical, logical and result-driven
This is Mon-Fri position
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with flexibility and dependability
