Inventory Analyst

Job Responsibilities

The Inventory Analyst provides analysis and reporting to support inventory and assortment optimization, manage unproductive inventory and optimize store inventory assortments. This position provides day-to-day analysis and reports data weekly and monthly.

Schedule: Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week (Kennesaw, GA)

Target Pay: 70-75K

Core responsibilities this person will have day in and day out:

• Monitor demand performance of sales plan and directly work with cross functional team members to optimize inventory
• Provide store and warehouse level inventory and assortment analysis, unproductive store inventory and warehouse levels, store directed overstock analysis and store assortment reporting in support of inventory optimization
• Create and support reporting analysis of store and warehouse inventory outputs to aid in the execution of merchandising activities in support of overall company sales goals
• Provide ad-hoc reporting on store and warehouse inventory analysis
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve the store inventory and warehouse inventory to meet or exceed company goals
• Communicate with management, store operations and distribution centers concerning inventory movement changes and assortment activities
• Interact with Category Managers and cross functional team members as needed to develop plans to optimize sales and operational planning
• Create and support reporting in support of sales and operational planning
• Other duties as assigned

MUST HAVE skillsets

• 5 years of experience as an analyst with a background in demand planning is required
• Experience with Sales and Operations Planning process
• Experience with SAP Business Intelligence
• Ability to query results using SQL software programs
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and efficiently manage time with the ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Kennesaw, GA 30144: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
