STONE Resource Group is partnering with our client on a search for a detail-oriented and analytically-minded individual to join our team as a Project Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing moderate to complex financial transactions to ensure accurate documentation of accounting codes, correct processing of invoices, and proper booking of assets. Additionally, you will play a key role in resolving system and process-related issues, providing guidance on various work management systems.
This is a long-term contract opportunity that does require you to be local to Atlanta to work a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze moderate to complex financial transactions to ensure accurate documentation of accounting codes and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently, verifying details such as pricing, quantities, and terms.
- Book assets in accordance with established guidelines and ensure proper documentation and classification.
- Work closely with both internal and external customers to resolve system and process-related problems in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and support on work management systems.
- Assist in establishing best practices and process improvements for Project Support Specialist tasks, including identifying areas for streamlining and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to financial transactions and accounting practices.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field.
- Experience in Oracle Financials a big plus.
- Strong experience with analyzing financial transactions to ensure accounting accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
