Proposal Engineer

We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to join our team, where you’ll play a crucial role in developing and delivering technical proposals for advanced machinery used in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Quotations and Technical Proposals: Prepare technical proposals, including machine quotations, cycle time studies, and detailed part process documentation for high-precision machinery.
• Software Utilization: Use Siemens NX, AutoCAD, Camos, and TRAUB WinFlex to configure and quote machinery based on customer specifications.
• Pre-Sales Project Management: Manage the pre-sales process by understanding customer needs, developing solutions, and managing timelines. Obtain third-party quotations and oversee project changes.
• Customer and Sales Support: Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales teams to address technical and commercial questions. Provide presentations and training during sales events.
• Task Management: Maintain a detailed schedule in the CRM system, ensuring smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with various departments to provide seamless customer support and deliver customized solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5 years of experience in manufacturing, turning, and CNC programming. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software like Siemens NX and AutoCAD is a must.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, but relevant experience with an Associate degree will be considered.
• Skills: Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Ability to analyze technical drawings quickly and provide accurate estimates is key.
• Customer Engagement: Must be comfortable working directly with customers to offer tailored technical solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain ISO-compliant documentation and records.

Travel: Minimal, occasional customer visits and training
