We are currently looking to add a Windows & Doors Service Technician Helpers to our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assisting the Service Technicians provide customers with service to their previously installed windows & doors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Determine materials needed for service
- Help Troubleshoot and service 3rd party manufactured products; windows and doors
- Assist Technicians Re-glaze impact and/or non-impact windows, doors and sliding glass doors
- Help replace balance rods and coil packs on windows
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements Profile:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Possess excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient use of hand tools to include tape measure, level, saws, drills, etc.
- Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and provide solutions. Document solutions for future reference & training purposes
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics
- Strive for customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers accept proposed solutions and /or alternate techniques
- Willingness to work variable work hours, adapt to schedule changes & accept process changes
- Knowledge of aluminum, vinyl, and millwork products and repair techniques
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Window & Door installation a plus
- Service & Measure Technician: a plus
- General Construction knowledge preferred
