Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape maintenance and tree care. This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Duties:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Assist with planting and maintaining garden beds
- Operate hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks
- Assist with hardscape installations, such as patios and walkways
- Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering
- Dig trenches for irrigation systems or other purposes
- Assist with tree care tasks, including tree trimming and pruning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Familiarity with hardscape installations is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
