We have an opening in our team, and are looking for someone with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills to fill the role. We are looking to hire for la full-time position, but may be open to part-time as well. The full-time position qualifies for benefits, the part-time does not. Monday-Saturday availability to work is required. Must be available to work Saturdays!
We are an 80 year old family-owned business specializing in men’s and women’s casual footwear, comfort shoes, and work boots, carrying a large variety of widths and sizes. We also carry a selection of men's and women's casual clothing, outdoor wear, workwear, and local school spirit gear. We pride ourselves in the longevity of our team, the customer service we provide, our quality merchandise, and our community involvement.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome every customer and provide exemplary service.
- Shoe fitting
- Keep the store looking great and fully stocked.
- Build product expertise.
- Use good judgment.
- Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Punctuality and reliability is a must.
- Works well and communicates effectively with others on our team.
Skills
- Relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- High school degree (or equivalent)
- 18 years or older
Schedule For the part-time position, schedule may vary 20 - 35 hours per week. Full-time position is 40 hours per week. Monday - Saturday. Must be available to work Saturdays.
