Regional ESG Coordinator
Job Posting for Regional ESG Coordinator at STR Synthetic Turf Resources
Job Purpose
In support of SportGroup's ESG responsibilities, including social governance and sustainability with an eye toward both corporate and product, the development of an appropriate CSR strategy, and internal advocacy, the ESG Coordinator will serve as the focal person for data gathering. This role reports to STR Plant Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate data collection from multiple Companies for certifications (APT, AstroTurf, Synthetic Turf Resources, etc.), mid and full-year ESG reporting, and internal strategy development
- Balance the successful completion of multiple initiatives to the highest standards as established by the Board
- Act as a project manager for ESG projects, ensuring deadlines and cross-functional execution are met and delivered on time and on budget
- Provide advisory consultation to clients upon request regarding topics relating to corporate responsibility, sustainability, and ESG
- Ensure ESG implementation and compliance
- Support retail partners by maintaining product and corporate ESG data on third-party platforms and completing sustainability surveys as requested
- Create the annual ESG deliverables calendar and manage invites for reoccurring cross-functional team meetings

Qualifications
- Education: HS diploma/GED required
- Experience: 2 or more years of project management
- Strong attention to deadlines
- Proven success working with all levels of management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
