Summary/Primary Purpose: Provides individual, group, family, and psychoeducational group counseling services for The Salvation Army’s Inflection Point campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides, at minimum, 30 hours weekly of counseling services including individual, recovery group, family and psychoeducational group services.
- Completes all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
- Documents progress through counseling and interaction through groups within all required platforms including Credible.
- Completes all clinical documentation including, but not limited to psychosocial assessment, individualized treatment plan, and counseling clinical notes within the required time frames.
- Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
- Ensures the review and implementation of Salvation Army policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA).
- Responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to the State of Nebraska professional licensing standards.
- Actively participates in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by COA, the State, and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
- Participates in all staff meetings.
- Ensures compliance with local, State, Federal rules, regulations and policies.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by clinic, region or corporate leadership.
- Driving is not an essential role of this position.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:. Master’s degree and licensure as an LMHP required LADAC preferred.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
- Ability to be flexible and able to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. As well as the ability to access payroll, timekeeping and personal data via a web-based system.
- Administrative skills to include utilization of standard office equipment, data entry, 10-key, attention to details and filing.
- Good communication skills both written and spoken, and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters.
