What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Coordinator position at Street Legal?
This role provides administrative support for strategic outreach events at a national level and involves working with Command level staff and stakeholders that plan, schedules, coordinate logistics, and event execution. We are looking for an individual that is mission-minded, humble and recognizes the need to work at any level to event tasks through to completion. Experience working with a “2 or 3 Star” Command office is a must and must be able to obtain a Secret Level clearance but an active Secret clearance is preferable.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Update shared calendars, prepare internal and external messaging, modify datasets, create task list and planning document using Microsoft 365 suite of products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Assist with management of written correspondence (such as invitations, thank-you notes, appointment letters, and request letters) between the CAR, ARC-SC and the Outreach program participants, (e.g., ESGR, AUSA, MOAA, ROA, Army Reserve Ambassadors, etc.). This includes preparation, mailing, receiving, and filing.
Provide administrative support for the annual Army Reserve Ambassador Conference. Tasks may vary but include and are not limited to preparation and distribution of support materials, communicating conference details internally and externally, assisting with registration and logistics.
Prepare and submit written status reports weekly and quarterly, to include a summary of program activity and a description of the work planned during the upcoming quarter.
Compile and submit Army Reserve Ambassador quarterly reports for review by Assistant Chief, Army Reserve.
Assist in the research of local and relevant events for Army Reserve Officers to attend.
Communicate daily with Staff to coordinate tasks and schedules to ensure all milestones are met.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field preferred
5 years of related administrative support related to event planning experience
Army/Army Reserve experience working with a 2- or 3-Star General’s office
Must be clearable to Secret level but Secret preferred.
Compensation based on experience.
