This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40 hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.
Essential Functions

- Assists with the development and implementation of progress monitoring systems for interventions.
- Conducts informal evaluations and classroom walkthroughs to ensure proficiency of skills delineated in the Danielson Framework with the Academic Interventionist team and provides feedback to the Supervisor for formal evaluations of Interventionists.
- Builds sustainable, positive working relationships with a network of student service providers to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness in service alignment.
- Ensures conformance of educational programs to state and Insight PA laws, regulations, policies, and standards through evaluation, development and coordination activities.
- As needed, researches and implements curriculum resources to meet student MTSS Goals.
- Develops proficiency in all essential intervention programs and communication systems utilized within the Student Services Department.
- Ensures that the school is meeting the needs of students while complying with local, state, and federal laws.
- Supports tracking student collaborative processes involved with the local coordination of the MTSS System of Academics
- Responds to parent and student concerns and works with Supervisor to find appropriate solutions.
- Assists in the coordinating and implementing of grade level meetings.
- Attends all required trainings required for Interventionists.
- Monitors student Rate of Improvement within Academic MTSS (multi-tiered system of supports) and provide feedback for individual and group interventions.
- Works cooperatively with general education classroom teachers to modify the curriculum, as necessary, and to assist with the research-based and evidence-based implementation of interventions.
- Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no regular supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
Minimum Required Skill Set
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technology skills
- Experience using search engines (internet) for research projects
- Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook and IEP Software Systems
- Maintains confidentiality
- Acts as a team player
- Ability to pass required background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education
- Reading Specialist Certification or Math Certification
- Experience in a leadership role
- Background in serving students with multiple eligibilities
- Background of providing professional learning opportunities to colleagues
Certificates and Licenses
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate

- This is a flexible position with opportunities for in-office or remote work options. The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light foot traffic).
- This position will include limited travel and will include limited overnight travel. This is estimated to be less than 20% of the time. Travel will be required for community events, PD and state testing.
