What You Will Do
To oversee all operations and inventory management activities as they relate to surgical case scheduling and case coverage. This position has responsibilities to be the liaison between the field sales team for the area covered and the Regional Inventory Manager, while coordinating all activities relating to Case Coverage, Inventory Management, Inventory Requirements Planning, Loaner Management, and other related operational analysis.
Consistent communication with Reps to ensure reps needs
- Communicates backorders to sales (verify incomplete kits are ok to be used in surgery)
- Communicates late delivery or inability to meet Hospital/sales requested delivery
- Coordination and Calendar maintenance for allocation of resources
- Coordinates kit movement within territory, utilizing hub inventory first
- Locating, allocating and staging kits, physically and in FOMS
- Moving staged requests physically and in FOMS, to outbound once request is filled
- Inventory understanding and movement, Kit Turns
- Additional Hub Inventory requests
- Identify additional kits needed and what can be returned (underutilized kits) to maintain kit turns
- Works with management to find kit balance
- Helps Identifies locations for Consignment
- Consignment request should be handled by management*
- Inventory Inspection
- Helping with quality kit inspection to ensure kits are completed to BOM
- Helping to conduct cycle counts (JDE to FOMS comparison)
- Helps to maintain kit inventory control (can account for all kits)
- Sourcing of missing inventory (kits and loose items needed) utilizing Loaners and other locations: (Finding BO items needed)
- Assists Sourcing with Kit moves
- Coordinates product movement between Hubs
- Scheduling Driver Routes for pickups and deliveries
- Driver communication when they are in the field
- Returns of expired and obsolete inventory - help manage inventory on Q-Hold Completing biologics logs for FDA compliance Shipping of inventory, when necessary Manages loaner pool/WEX Kits (Transfers and extensions)
What You Need
- 5 years of relevant/professional experience, required
- Experience in logistics, inventory, delivery, and customer service, preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s license required with no restrictions
- High proficiency in problem solving
- Experience in WebOps/FOMS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $35.10 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
