Overview
Stryten Energy, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
The exempt Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for inventory control necessary to support continuous improvement in the manufacturing activities consistent with plant business goals, like cost, quality, and quantity specifications.
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. Salary range for this role is: $58,500.00 - $61,000.00
Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procedures for ensuring adequate inventory levels.
- Updating safety stocks and identifying and disposing of obsolete materials.
- Training and settling up cycle counts based on ABC.
- Leading the plant in inventory at least quarterly if not more often.
- Training other areas on inventory control.
- Backup Shipping/Receiving department when supervisor is out or if additional assistance is needed.
- Work with Quality on defective goods return/ disposal.
- Manage and prepare plant for yearly inventory.
- Work well under pressure and with others.
- Lead projects to reduce scrap and increase accuracy in counts.
- Multitask and problem solve under changing conditions.
- Generate daily production and negative inventory reports.
- Acts as a liaison between two facilities in regard to inventory and ensure proper movement in IQMS system.
- Regular attendance and timeliness is required in order to give sufficient support to the plant-wide team.
- Must participate in process audits.
- Other tasks may be required on an as needed basis.
- Willingness to participate in additional educational opportunities.
- While performing the duties of this job the individual is occasionally required to vary their schedules times and shifts.
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Five years’ experience with inventory.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field such as business or supply chain.
- Experience working in manufacturing plant is a plus.
