Stryten Energy (formerly Tulip Richardson Manufacturing and Richardson Molding), a new company name with a long history in the Columbus, IN area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
The Quality Assurance Supervisor provides direct support for the continuous improvement of the manufacturing facility as controlled thru Quality Department related enhancements and supervises the Lab Assistant and Quality Auditor positions.
Responsibilities
- Provide QA support and documentation for the determination of mold refurbishment and procurement, production processing and CapEx plan projects
- Operate and program CMM as required and train other department personnel
- Drawing review as requested, including accuracy of part numbers, tolerancing, critical dimensions, etc.
- Complete PPAP dimensionals and assist with submission as related to new or modified components and equipment
- Provide FMEA, Deviation, PPAP, EWR, ECO, SPC, & CAR support.
- Supervise and provide backup to Lab Assistant
- Maintain Calibration System, including design and repair for internal gauges
- Maintain all certifications required by Quality System – supplier and customer
- Provide backup for Quality Assurance Manager
- Perform miscellaneous duties as necessary
- Assist in internal audits to help support compliance to ISO 9001:2015 standards
Qualifications
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:
- Minimum of 5 years of Quality experience preferably in Injection Molding
- Understand the fundamentals of the injection molding process
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to use root cause analysis methodology
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
- Understand the fundamentals and use of CMM and CAD
- Strong organizational skills
