Electrical Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility in Tuscaloosa, AL, 35404. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform machine safety inspections and troubleshoot industrial automation equipment
  • Utilize PLC programming and troubleshooting skills to maintain and repair machinery
  • Work with a variety of machine brands including Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R Industrial Automation, and Beckoff
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting using schematics and shop math skills
  • Inspect and maintain hydraulics systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of PLC wiring and programming
  • Familiarity with Industrial Automation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary info:

$45 - $55 / hr
