Parker Station Flats in Robbinsdale is hiring for a professional Building Caretaker to join their maintenance team. As a Building Caretaker, you will be responsible for keeping common areas and available units of the property clean, orderly and pleasant. As well as preform light maintenance work and providing outstanding customer service. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and detailed oriented individual.
This is a Full-Time Position 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Inside duties:
- Tour entire property (daily) to assess cleaning needs.
- Clean common areas (i.e. party room, storage rooms, fitness center, laundry room, hallways, elevator areas), offices
- and other assigned areas.
- Clean vacated apartments/townhomes in preparation for new resident move-in.
- Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo common area rugs and carpets. Sweep, scrub, mop,
- and wax and polish floors.
- Clean and restock restrooms.
- Dust, clean and polish furniture and woodwork. Polish metal work.
- Empty waste receptacles, clean trash room, rotate waste receptacles, and wash trash chutes.
- Wash windows, walls and doors.
- Replace light bulbs.
- Outside duties:
- Assist with grounds work, e.g. sweep sidewalks, water plants, remove snow, distribute salt/ice melt, etc.
- Pick up paper and debris from main entrances and around property.
- Empty trash containers.
- Clean garage area. (Sweep and ensure fixtures are clear of cobwebs)
Other Responsibilities
- Take routine care of custodial equipment and materials.
- Move and arrange furniture and equipment.
- Assist with repairs.
- Distribute/deliver resident mail and packages as necessary.
- Deliver communications from property management office to residents as necessary.
- Assist property management/leasing office as requested, e.g., answer telephones.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
- Maintain and safeguard confidential information.
- Remain flexible, receptive and adaptive to change.
- Understand and apply basic principals of good housekeeping and safety.
- Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.
