The SMG High School Student Exchange Program is seeking a part-time or full-time regional manager with 3 years of successful supervisory experience in the field of student exchange. This is a remote position with field focus on the Midwest.

SMG’s F-1 Basic High School Program provides international students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in American culture while pursuing an excellent education. Our goal is to offer international students the opportunity to have a traditional American high school experience tailored to their specific needs. To accomplish this goal, SMG is seeking an experienced F-1 or J-1 regional field manager.

As a regional manager you will be a member of the SMG’s field management team, and you will report directly to the Program Director in Bay Shore, NY. Under the direction of the Program Director, you will maintain an intercultural exchange program in your assigned region that complies with all SMG F-1 placement and supervision protocols and best practice guidelines, as well as the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET)

Duties:

• The Regional Manager will be familiar with all CSIET Guidelines and any applicable State or Local regulations for student exchange programs.
• The Regional Manager will facilitate partnerships with designated F-1 sponsoring high schools for the enrollment of future international students in grades 9-12
• The Regional Manager will facilitate the placement of a set number of private or public high school students per program year. The number is to be determined during the hiring process and will be specified in the contract.
• The Regional Manager completes various reporting forms and submits them to SMG national headquarters in compliance with set monthly deadlines.

Compensation is commensurate with student exchange management field experience.

Pay: $12,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Self-determined schedule

Supplemental pay types:

• Signing bonus
