Position Summary:
This position will serve as the Operations Specialist at Student Watchers. The Operations Specialist is
responsible for overseeing the program support functions for Headquarters and the Field
operations. This is a full time (seasonal) position available between the months of October - June yearly.
Duties:
- Providing administrative support to the Operations Manager
- Participate in recruitment efforts to include new-employee orientation and new hire paperwork; administer employment processing.
- Participate in organizational leadership and training efforts.
- Maintain other records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures; verify employment status.
- Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Maintain confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
- Help maintain staff organization charts and the staff directory.
- Schedule contractor / staff for assignments using scheduling software.
- Perform contractor schedule reviews for contract expectation and quality assurance.
- Provide exemplary customer service with phone and in person communication to clients, staff and vendors.
- Responsible for making travel and hotel arrangements.
- Light travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrate experience using Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent customer service skills; effective oral and written communication
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to enhance cooperation of various levels within the agency.
- Ability to establish priorities and effectively complete multiple tasks, work independently or with minimal supervision.
Schedule: Full Time Position (Monday- Friday) Seasonal: Yearly (October -June)
Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour.
