Moida will be the first retail store, owned and operated by Style Korean. Moida will be located inside Ontario Mills Mall and feature the best selling products currently offered by Style Korean. Moida will be the first ever of its kind featuring amazing interior design, visual presentation, and products never seen before in the US.

Assistant Manager:

Job Description –

As an Assistant Manager for Moida, the Assistant Manager assumes overall responsibility for the store in the absence of the Manager of Retail Operations. Main duties of the Assistant Manager are successful operations of the store during opening hours, visual merchandising, product rotation, and responsibility of the overall customer service within the store. The duties of the Assistant Manager may change at any time, with or without cause, due to the nature of the business. Additional duties of the Assistant Manager will be communicated by the Manager of Retail Operations.

 

Job Responsibilities –

  1. Overall supervision of the store in the absence of the Manager of Retail Operations
  2. Working with the Manager of Retail Operations in the overall visual presentation of the store. This includes but is not limited to the following:
    1. Researching popular Korean beauty trends
    2. Moving product displays based on brand popularity
    3. Working with the retail sales team in ensuring stock levels are accurate and products are readily available for our customers.
  3. Visual presentation:
    1. Ensuring all promotional signage and product signage are neatly posted within the store.
    2. Working with the Manager of Retail Operations on implementing new ideas for the overall presentation of the store.
    3. Distributing tasks to the retail sales team regarding cleanliness throughout the store.
    4. Ensuring store window postings are properly posted and windows are clean and viewable from the customers’ eyes from outside the store.
  4. Creating amazing customer experiences through strong client focus and collaboration. Being active on the sales floor during peak hours, speaking with customers and assisting them in finding the perfect products.
  5. Supporting the Manager of Retail Operations in driving results by monitoring and analyzing inventory stock levels. Communicating with the Inventory Control Manager on ordering and timely delivery of products.
  6. Managing the overall operations of the store during each scheduled shift. This includes but is not limited to the following:
    1. Sending team members on breaks and meal breaks according to the Company policy.
    2. Reviewing Yelp and Google Business reviews and providing feedback to customers.
    3. Communicating with the Manager of Retail Operations regarding any issues on staffing, attendance, and employee performance issues. Partnering with the Manager of Retail Operations on any corrective action that needs to be issued.
  7. Assisting customers at the cashier station by tendering payment. The Assistant Manager and Shift Supervisors will be the only staff given permission to process returns and refunds, based on the return and refund policy issued by the corporate leadership team.

 

What We Are Looking For –

  1. Previous proven experience in the retail industry
  2. 1 year experience as a manager
  3. The ability to lead others in all areas of the store
  4. Open availability, with the ability to work weekends and holidays
  5. Works closely with the Manager of Retail Operations on hiring, training, and issuing disciplinary action.
  6. The ability to take full responsibility of the store in the absence of the Manager of Retail Operations
  7. Must be 18 or older
  8. Must possess US citizenship or legal authorization for employment in the US

 

Rate of pay - The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / Hour. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
