Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Associa. You will support one of our newest business units and will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of all exempt and non-exempt searches, administering employee compensation, training and benefit programs, and providing guidance to employees and supervisors on performance management and employee relations issues. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle for all exempt and non-exempt searches, including assessing staffing needs, posting job requisitions and job advertisements, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, consulting with managers in hiring decisions, and extending job offers
- Administer employee compensation, training, and benefit programs
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations
- Build an effective sourcing network to fill all requisitions in a timely manner
- Anticipate openings and establish a pipeline of candidates to reduce vacancy percentage and improve time to fill
- Drive a strong social networking recruiting strategy
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to increase efficiencies and identify potential candidates
- Respond to candidate inquiries and work to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Lead all hiring managers to understand Associa's recruiting process
- Work with employees and supervisors to research and resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend solutions regarding employee concerns related to the work environment, and claims of harassment and discrimination
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors in all tasks related to performance management, assist supervisors in selecting and carrying out appropriate methods for correcting performance deficiencies
- Provide administrative support in the areas of Recruitment, Benefits, and Payroll. Route paperwork, issues, and questions to the appropriate Home Office HR Department member.
- Conduct accident investigations to determine the cause and discuss proactive solutions with supervisors/managers to prevent recurrence
- Respond to claims for unemployment insurance, including preparation of supporting documentation and managing the appeals process
- Manage the separation process, including collection of final documents, exit interviews, and sending required documents/final paycheck to the supervisor or departed employee. Complete all required internal notifications regarding separations.
