We’re hiring enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Subway Sandwich Artists for all shifts! As a Sandwich Artist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a delightful dining experience.
Position Summary: The Subway Sandwich Artist greets and serves guests, prepares products, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles light paperwork. Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position. But wait, there’s more! The Sandwich Artist is not only a cashier or just a sandwich maker; they’re the heart of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cheerful, helpful, and above-and-beyond service to guests while crafting subs, salads, protein bowls, wraps, and more.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and accurately explain them to guests.
- Prepare food that meets SUBWAY’s specifications and high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant by following proper cleaning procedures.
- Use the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and compute bills.
- Perform food temperature logs to ensure all products are safe to serve.
- Restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
- Adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and cleanup.
- Unload delivery truck supplies and place them in the proper storage area.
- Complete University of Subway courses as directed.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum age: 16 years old.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting, with a strong focus on customer service, is a plus.
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling is desirable.
- Pay Rate:
- Starting rate of $14.50
