Assistant Manager

Sudler Property Management, the most respected residential property management firm in the Midwest, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Property Manager in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in community association management.

The ideal candidate will assist the Community Association Manager in all operational aspects of the property, demonstrating superior managerial, administrative and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Be the primary contact for all residents and resolve all service requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Assist in the supervision and management of all property staff, consisting of maintenance/janitorial staff and front desk personnel, ensuring they deliver superior customer service.

• Complete A/P and A/R tasks in a timely manner.

• Fully understand and implement the building’s operational protocols and enforce rules & regulations.

• Complete additional operational tasks assigned by the Community Association Manager.

• Maintain an organized office.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of previous experience in property management, hospitality or luxury retail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient knowledge of Word and Excel and general computer skills.

• Excellent knowledge of Chicago and surrounding areas with a strong awareness of local businesses and local law.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
