WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
SUHNER USA, Inc. is seeking to fill the full-time, in-house, on location, role of Inside Sales, located at our facility in Rome, GA.
BASIC FUNCTION
The function of the Inside Sales Representative is to provide direct support to the Offer and Order Manager in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the department can meet established growth targets.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Assist Key Account Managers with part number, price, and lead time information.
- Provide quotations for House accounts (RFQ).
- Manage House Accounts for performance and review.
- Receive and enter customer orders in ERP.
- Process credit card customer orders.
- Process and send invoices to customers
- Collect past due invoices and provide feedback to Accounts Receivable department.
- Conduct Post Sales follow-up activities to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in customer complaints as required and manage FMA (Return Material Authorization) process per procedure.
- Complete and maintain accurate sales forecast, data gathering, and reports.
- Perform reporting functions including, but not limited to, Open Sales Orders, Back Orders, Confirmations, and end of month reporting.
- Develop customer relationship representing SUHNER USA, Inc. in a positive and professional manner.
- Work with all personnel and outside contact to satisfy clients and achieve company goals.
- Identify areas of improvement and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
- Perform additional duties as required to support Sales team.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree or at least five (5) years minimum of experience in a relative role.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Expected travel, 10% annually, or as necessary to exceed plan and activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong interpersonal communication.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization and the ability to break down purchasing discussions into understandable concepts for non-purchasing colleagues.
- Demonstrated capability to navigate organizations to achieve results.
- Willingness to be flexible and adjust to a changing work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work. Understand when urgency is required and use good judgment in varied situations.
