What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of UX digital products position at Suitsupply?
Suitsupply is an international men's fashion brand with more than 100 stores worldwide across major metropolitan cities like Paris, Milan, London, Zurich, Sydney, New York, Toronto, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong. You will help shape these new and existing digital products and services, craft and scale the user interface foundations, and work closely with six digital product teams to ensure the quality of user experience. Together with the teams you will produce designs for development that include design research and scalable design solutions in a doable scope of work format. You will strive for a seamless omnichannel digital customer experience.
You will be reporting to the Head of E-Commerce and help development and operations teams, including onboarding new members, motivate, lead, and inspire. You will be an all-rounder, both hands-on UX/UI but with a keen eye for strategy.
A typically day includes:
- Lead the development of a global and consistent UX/UI for all product teams
- Oversee the design experience of our omnichannel digital channels.
- Connect the dots between teams and facilitate a collaborative process
- Help our product teams with UX analysis to share qualitative user insights
- Support our design agency on new concept directions combining company vision and user insights
- Drive consistent adoption and adherence to relevant design standards and principles
- Actively seek out the latest design solutions
This job might be for you if you have:
- 7 years of design experience, preferably in retail, eCommerce, and Saas
- Strong in UI & visual design and eye for details
- Experience with a design system and good understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Good understanding of lean, UX, ideation, design validation, data analyses and research methodologies
- Experience with setting up, managing a UX team, and defining a design process.
- Demonstrate advanced understanding and application of user-centered design concepts and methodologies.
- Strong work ethic, self-directed and ownership
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field
