Main tasks and responsibilities
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of markets and own business performance to identify improvements in our current sales approach (segmentation, offerings, competition) and new growth fields
- Reconcile and structure external and internal sets of data – pragmatically build assumptions and analytical thought process to derive conclusions for the business
- Translate complex issues upward to senior management to support decision making. As well as downwards to our sales & ops team to help them buy into new approaches to the markets and application-oriented offerings
- Take the lead on business development plans. Define clear targets, milestones and deliverables and support or lead the implementation within the organization
· Benchmark and report on competitors’ business models and major moves
Educational Background
· Master’s in business administration (required)
· Technical/ Engineering university degree (desirable / a plus)
Practical Experience
· Analysis and mapping of complex processes
· Excellent understanding of systems and data bases
· Experience with BI tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau or Qlik or similar
· Excellent Excel proficiency including Power Query
· Excellent PowerPoint skills
· Prior experience interacting with an ERP (such as SAP, D365) desirable
