The anticipated salary range for this role is between $61,000.00and $90,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Specialties:
Commercial Loans and Lines of Credit, Asset-Based Financing, SBA Loans, and Specialized Financing, Real Estate Loans, Cash Management Services, International Services
Spread financial statements and obtain credit reports to evaluate degree of risk. Acts as primary contact for customer inquiries related to loan balances, billings, payments, payoff, etc. Conducts review of balance sheet and profit loss statements. Assess liquidity, quality of management, market position, and overall business climate to estimate future profitability of business. Maintain credit files and meet compliance standards. Prepare for internal and agency audits throughout the year. Assist the Credit Officer with new and renewal loan information as requested.
* Obtain updated financial information as needed.
* Assist CO to support on the new prospect as well as the renewal for existing portfolio.
* Spread financial statements using standard financial software ie: Baker Hill
* Analyzes financial information to make a general assessment of the customer's creditworthiness
* Conducts review of balance sheet and profit & loss statements
* Assess liquidity, quality of management, market position, and overall business climate to estimate future profitability of business
* Obtain background searches for business and individuals
* Maintain credit files and meet compliance standards
* Monitor financial ticklers for credit administration review
* Provide exemplary service to ensure customer satisfaction
* Assist in the boarding process and loan advances/pay downs
* Key-in and monitor Credit Agreement covenant compliance
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Skills/ Qualifications:
* Minimum two-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Ability to apply financial and mathematical concepts to perform required financial analysis
* Must have computer experience with knowledge in Excel and Word
