What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mgr, Trayline position at Summa Health?
Supervises trayline personnel including scheduling. Coordinates food service including menus, special dietary needs, food preparation, inventories, and cost control. Supervises the cafeteria as needed. Maintains Kronos records.
Formal Education Required:
a. Dietetics or Food Service Management degree or a minimum of a 2 year Associate degree with Certification in Food Service Management preferred.
Experience & Training Required:
a. Previous hospital experience desirable.
b. Experience in food management and quantity food preparation is necessary.
c. Knowledge of basic nutrition, modified diets and principles of food preparation and basic math skills are necessary.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Understanding of union contracts helpful.
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
